# The sources behind the shortage story

FDA decisions, supply records and explanations of the rules, with a note on what each one tells you.

## A date is part of a source

These are the sources behind the guide. For a past turning point, the FDA decision explains what changed. For today’s national supply question, the shortage database is the place to return.

The two orders below cover semaglutide and tirzepatide injections. Later updates explain how the compounding rules changed afterward. A notice about one medicine or form doesn’t settle the status of another.

The notes say what each source helps explain. They don’t decide what treatment fits you; that needs a personal care conversation.

A delivery reaches one receiving door. FDA’s national supply finding answers a wider question, and keeps the date on which it was made.
